We're forming up a casual group to play The Secret World starting from scratch. Many of us never saw all the content this game has to offer and new content releases seemed intriguing enough to jump into this title again as a fun diversion from whatever other games we're playing today. We could use a few more hands on deck and as always, the more the merrier! Please check out this thread if you're interested in hanging out: http://alloutassault.net/threads/lfg-the-secret-world.31015/page-2#post-190601

It was stated last week that, barring there are no issues, that the Vanguard, the deep space fighter, would be going up for sale at $250.
I don't know much about the Vanguard, but if it is that price it means that it is probably be the biggest fighter, maybe the size of a lancer. My guess is that it is 2x the size of the hornet. I imagine that the Vanguard would be the fighter escort used for a squadron of Talis and thus it interests me. Possibly having a crew of 2-3 and bunks. What other features or drawbacks do you think it may have?
I am curious to hear why other people may or may not be getting it or what other uses they think it might be good for and how it might or might not complement the rest of the AoA fleet.

I'm going to keep this brief, it should not be a huge impact on the community as things currently stand so it probably doesn't warrant a long-winded post.
AoA has been around since 1996 and many of you know the AoA admins who helped carry us through the past decade and more. They've build AoA into what it is today and I thank them for it. At the same time and with real-life taking over, many admins have become less active and that's totally understandable. As of today I went ahead and created an AoA Emeritus group to recognize these folks for their efforts on AoA's behalf, and to make a clear distinction between their ongoing but less-frequent stewardship and the day to day administrators.
Our inductees into the AoA Emeritus gruop are (in no particular order): Ragter, Diabolocoj, Allomein, Mynameismonkey and Glow. They're still around from time to time and still have full access to the guild administration forums to weigh in on issues and provide perspective whenever they can....

It's time to fill another Executive position in the SC organization, that of the CHRO or Chief Human Resources Officer. Our new CMO, Signal Warden, is already hard at work developing a brand and brand assets for AoA that can all be leveraged to help bring new members into the fold. I need someone to lead on the execution of our recruiting objectives.
Short term, the goal is to double our Shareholder ranks to 60 by the end of March 2015. Longer term, the goal will be to help us keep All Out Assault relevant to quality players searching for a place to hang their helmet. I don't know what size is appropriate for us in the long run which is why I'm not setting a numerical goal for the long term, but I think we'll all know when our size feels right, feels effective and the place feels like home.
Initially I see the CHRO as having several primary functions:
- Participate in executive council decisions, including appointment of other AoA officers...
